Introducing This Is Pop. The Paris-based trio of M (keys, machines), L (vox, machines) and S (guitar, machines) formed in November 2005, and surface during one of the most exciting times for French rock music.

The band have toured almost constantly since their debut gig in March 2006, playing shows across France, Germany and the UK, and as their name suggests, play pop music; the kind of pop music which even the most dedicated wallflowers will find themselves dancing to.

Their release with This Is Fake DIY Records follows a French EP through Guerilla/Lollipop Records, an appearance on French compilation ‘Aux fous… Detruire… Les oreilles’ (something like ‘destroying ears with force’) alongside Pravda, British Hawaii and more, and the prospect of a US EP release.

‘This Is Pop’, the band’s self-titled debut mini-album, will be released in the UK on 11th February 2008, available on CD and digital download.
