Music vampires, evil empires, and, er, demands for sex all feature on this double A side single from Stuffy/The Fuses’ new album 'Angels Are Ace', recorded by little known knob twiddler Steve Albini.

Their debut single from the album 'Ahhhh Song' scored airplay on Jonathan Ross’ Saturday morning Radio 2 show courtesy of fan DJ Mark Lamarr, as well as plays across Radio 1 and 6 Music from Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens, Chris Hawkins and Mark Riley.
The band have been invited to support the likes of iForward Russia!, Brakes, the Broken Family Band and Young Knives and with glowing reviews in the NME, Drowned in Sound and Artrocker, Stuffy/The Fuses are becoming impossible to ignore.

As well as becoming one of the last ever bands to record a session for the late John Peel, they’ve also won the heart of Radio 2’s Mark Lamarr who has given them a session and even labeled them with their own genre - ‘Nu-indie’. Meanwhile bands including the Kaiser Chiefs, Magic Numbers, Brakes, and the Cardiacs have all been spotted at their gigs.
Playing sweaty dancehalls up and down the country, the London four-piece have wowed crowds with their rampantly joyous exuberance, with extra gusto and bashful charisma from the Ritalin deprived frontman/drummer Stuffy (oft nicknamed ‘a sort of loveable drumming bear’).
