Manda Rin releases her new single, 'Guilty Pleasure', through This Is Fake DIY Records, digitally on Monday 3rd November, and physically on seven-inch vinyl on Monday 10th November 2008.

'Guilty Pleasure' features on Manda Rin's debut solo album, 'My DNA', which was released in September 2008 to a flurry of great reviews, including from The Guardian, "This debut is surprisingly fresh... an album that's better than people would have expected." (4/5), and the NME, "My DNA, might see Bis' singer and keyboard player have the last laugh over those who misjudged her at the time." (7/10)

Manda Rin, aka Amanda MacKinnon, is instantly recognisable from cult electro-punk pop trio Bis. About a year after the band formed in 1994, they appeared on Top of the Pops. Bis went on to record three albums, release a Greatest Hits, and tour with the likes of the Foo Fighters, Ash, Garbage, Super Furry Animals and Gary Numan.

Further abroad Bis featured on Beastie Boys' Grand Royal label in the USA, and sold nearly 100,000 copies of their debut album in its first week of release in Japan.

's new direction is influenced by acts like Gossip, CSS, New Young Pony Club, To My Boy, Blood Red Shoes and her new favourite band, Late Of The Pier.
