The Research Album Launch Party
Come together everybody e v e r y w h e r e, snuggle up to yr neighbour and feel the warmth of humankind. Then tell yr neighbour about the new THE RESEARCH album that comes up from the ground on October 27th, and if your neighbour seems interested then you might tell him about the single (the one that is "the best song of the week" on Q digital radio) that comes first, on October 20th. We do it for This Is Fake DIY Records Ltd now, if he asks.
If you listen to BBC6 Music digital radio, or if you want to spend some realtime with Georgia, Sarah, and me, then you will totally freak out when you hear us playing some new songs and trading tales of terror, live live live in session with Marc Riley tomorrow in the evening from 7pm. If you do listen, you should send in text messages to give me a repulsive reputation. Say stuff like "I used to work in a dermatological testing facility with Russell (EL DISASTERO) but he got fired for biting the thumbs off a monkey doing a facemask." If you've got something sick then send it… I won't deny AnYtHiNg. I've got this terrible memory.
This poster is for our gruelling Halloween and ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY celebration in Wakefield. The good clergy folk of Wakefield have permitted us to open up the doors of the hallowed Chantry Chapel for an unreal night of loud music and silent horror. My frightful wife will teach all the smokers the THRILLER DANCE between bands (while Dear Bob remembers chilling chapters of his life for the entertainment of those inside), and we'll have a parade across the bridge at midnight. We'll have a prize for the best dressed, and maybe a prize for the best carved Jack O'Lantern. Hands down, the weirdest party in town. We advise you bring liquor because there ain't no bathroom.
I've designed new t-shirts btw. They're pretty good. You can buy them from us on the tour. You might as well tell yr neighbour about the tour too.
I hope everything is good for you,
