WATP Nominated For BAFTA
Well, almost. News just reached us that the video for 'You Can Do Athletics, BTW' (as directed by Colin Kennedy and produced by Brian Coffey - it's they who are up for the prize, the band are mere actors in this instance...) has been nominated for a Scottish BAFTA.
When we know more about what that means, we'll add that information, but until now you can see we're not having you on here, and watch the video itself here!
EDIT: WE HAVE INFORMATION! HOORAH!
Thanks to BAFTA Scotland, we now know:
"The BAFTA Scotland NEW TALENT AWARDS is a competition designed for young and new creative screen industry talent, living and working in Scotland. BAFTA Scotland exits to promote Scotland's moving image industry and these new awards are aimed at giving additional opportunities to those who are 'first timers' to participate in our competition system.

Heads We Dance Album Complete!
News reached us this weekend - via both e-mail and the band's Twitter that the latest addition to the DIY Records line-up, Heads We Dance have FINISHED the album, with mastering complete at about 1.30am Sunday morning. We suggest you head over there to catch up.
Our favourite update? "Rumour: you know how dark side of the moon is a secret soundtrack to wizard of oz? Our album is synced up to Big with tom hanks.".
Why? This particular member of the DIY Records team hates 'Big'. Inexplicably, yet completely. - ‹ First < 36 37 38 39 40 > Last ›
