  • Love Ends Disaster! Banned From Radio 1

Posted 21st November 2007 in Love Ends Disaster!
Who’d have thought one of our very own bands would get themselves banned from Radio 1. Tsk.

Here’s what Matt’s told us: “The producers refused to play our original jingle because we referenced nuclear warfare (not PC in England’s current climate of terrost activity apparently!) As far as I know Sunday evenings is strictly for board games, family bickering and maybe, just maybe, a glass of sherry (since we’re approaching that time of year).”

    Naughty naughty.

  • Chiara L’s Leeds Launch Party

Posted 20th November 2007 in The Chiara L’s
The release of their incredibly pretty single will be celebrated with an uber-special launch party at Leeds Cockpit on November 30th.

So, here’s a bit of what will be happening:

    - Support from DIY (and Chiara L’s) favourites The Lodger.

    - The band’s first merchandise desk, with “unique handmade pieces”.

    - FREE raffle entry for every person with a lot of funky stuff to be won - just don’t forget to get your ticket at the entrance.

    - Wicked video projections by the band’s friend Caroline.

    - Freebies.

    - Tim showing his tits to the public…

… er, yeah. You can buy tickets from Jumbo Records in Leeds, or drop the band a line on MySpace. They’re £4 each. The tickets, that is. Not the band.
